Australian immigration law allows for almost 150 visa subclasses, and each one has specific prerequisites, and conditions that must be complied with upon visa grant, to ensure the visa isn’t revoked.
If you apply for a visa but fail to meet its eligiblity criteria, your application will be refused, and DIAC will not refund your application fee.
If you obtain your visa but breach the conditions of visa grant, DIAC has the right to revoke both the visa, and your right to remain in Australia.
In either case, unless you are confident of your ability to interpret Australia’s immigration law as it applies to your individual circumstances, it might be in your best interests to consider seeking professional advice from a registered migration agent.
